When is the festival?
Our Festival is held every July on the 4th Friday and Saturday. For the current date, look up in the bar at the top of this page.
What is the festival schedule?
The festival has bands on Friday night from 7-10pm. We come back Saturday from 10AM-10PM with a bluegrass contest. You can read more about that HERE.
I want to make sure that I see a certain event on Saturday. What time should I get there?
The speed at which the contest goes, depends on the number of contestants we have in each category and good ole Mother Nature. We suggest getting there early and visiting some of our vendors, sponsors, and air conditioned downtown businesses.
What do I need to bring?
Bring your lawn chairs, and anything that you need to stay cool on a summer day. Portable fans, sunscreen, coolers, and blankets are common items. Please note that this is a family event and alcohol is prohibited. If you are found with it in your possession, you will be asked (nicely) to leave.
Where can I buy tickets?
Thanks to our SPONSORS, this is a ticket free event! All you need to do is show up with your lawn chair and get ready for some great music. Use that would-be ticket money and go see some of our food and craft vendors!
